Ginger Beer hydro reading

Hey guys, just got into homebrewing and love it. On my second brew and doing a Cooper Ginger Beer alcoholic brew with 1 kg of raw sugar.
Just wondering, both my brews have never bubbled through th airlock, but that is fine cause there is condensation on the inside of the lid and a brown ring on the line of the brew etc.
But when taking a final gravity reading on my ginger beer brew it comes out at 10.02 is that too low? I mean will it still be alcoholic The brew has been on just under 7 days. The initial reading was around 10.30 or so.
Thanks for any help
