Dear fellow topers,

A rude,crude piece of construction that does save time.
Based on Oliver's washer posted I think under equipment.

Pics 1 &2 depict basic unit.A bit bloody dark I know.

1 Length of copper tube (about 10 mm I think) with radial holes drilled in and with end crimped to give two end spouts.Had to adjust initially as the old thick bottles wouldn't go over.
Silver soldered to elbow and then short length of tube S.S ed to ball valve.
Ball valve has hose connection spout so clamped a short length of garden hose on and fitted ordinary connecter.

2 Pic three just shows connection point so I can detach longer length of hose from unit for ease of storage.

As you can see it's mounted on a couple of bits of wood I found in the garage and this in turn is set into a pail to catch the water.(Slotted yon bucket with the trusty Dremel)
Tube is fixed with normal plumbing saddles.( Son is an apprentice plumber)to wood.
I usually tip water into watering can as my bit to water conservation or top up fish pond.

Picture four is of my good self at work looking very"chic".

Was going to get my fitter at work to make a you beaut stainless steel one but this works fine so will not bother.

i do so admire a man who can not only build something functional but something functional related to beer
