Is the online bulk priming CALC accurate??

Just preparing myself and trying to improve my beer I have decided to bulk prime my knappstein after racking etc, I sifted through all the posts and hav a pretty good idea on it, but people seem to differ on quantities. This calulater,

Popped up in a few posts so I thought it will prob suffice, from people who have used it do you find it accurate?? Do the calcs for my lager, I'll need 105gm of dex, that's brewing at 10deg, with most likly a final amount after racking etc of 20lt for a desired vol of 2.5.

Am I on the right path??

My calculations, using BeerSmith, for your given 20 litres at 10ºC for 2.5 volumes, show you need to use 104.5 gr corn sugar.

Dextrose can be substituted in equal quantity for sugar, to my knowledge.

90 gr will give you 2.32 volumes carbonation.

Is your brew going to go higher than 10 degrees at any point (like a dactyl rest, for instance)? As that will make a difference to how much sugar to use. Enter your fermentation temp as the highest temp your brew will reach after fermentation has finished.

From what I have read I won't require a dactyl rest as I'm brewing at a consistant 10deg.

That's more than likely the case, provided you also pitched your yeast at that temperature. If you pitched higher, a diacetyl rest wouldn't hurt, even though it may not be necessary.

Mmmm, now ya got me worried.... I guess I'll rest it just to make sure. Then I'll re jig my bulk priming calculations.
