Hi All,
What time of year does Pacman yeast generally become available.
I want to make the Shakespeare Stout from 'Can You Brew It' on the rewing Network.
Cheers,
Chris

I believe it was a limited edition strain and as such could be years before they re-release it.
Put a post on AHB for brewers in your local area, someone will have slanted it.
Nice yeast, i enjoyed the extra grin factor it brought to the golden ale and APAs.

Yeah, you could try get your hands on whatever bottle of Rogues (or rouges, if you want to follow his directions to a tee) that he had and reculture it.

I know what I know, but you don't know what I know, and I'm not telling. Mum's the word!
However, I've never used Pacman yeast, and have no plans to do so.
From this weekend mrs warra and I'll be gone for a month, and I'll be enjoying many no doubt lovely European beers.
I might sneak a look or two at the forum while we're away, as we'll have a laptop with us, but that depends on how much fun we're having and whether we can make time.
