Howdy all, and a question to all of you experienced brewers...

If i was to just change the yeast in DrSmurto's Golden Ale, to a S23 lager yeast and brewed at lager temps etc...

1- What affect do you think it would have / how would it turn out, if I didnt change anything in the ingredients ?

2- What changes would you make to the recipe / process before brewing this ?

Any ideas / thoughts sincerely appreciated.

Cheers,
Grog

Others may correct me on this but...

A lager yeast should have a slightly higher attenuation, giving a lower final gravity, thus have less residual sweetness in the finished beer.
If it were me I would consider reducing the Hop bittering addition just a whisker to keep it balanced.
