I have Angel City albums on vinyl...Oliver2 wrote:Hi team,
Well, it's a year, almost to the day, since the last post in this topic, but something important has come to my attention.
It's this: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CYMOBIJN
It's a 1980 concert by The Angels recorded in Denver and apparently broadcast on the BBC. (The Angels were known as Angel City in the US.)
The songs are:
1) No Exit
2) Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again
3) Strait Jacket
4) After the Rain
5) Marseilles
6) Be With You
7) Shadow Boxer
Take a Long Line
9) Can't Shake It
The download is in .rar format. I downloaded this little app to "unzip" it: http://www.7-zip.org/ Once you download and install, you just need to go to Tools>Options and stick a tick next to the .rar box, then you're away.
You can read (a little) more about the concert here:

Dragged this one up as I am going to the KISS Concert this Thursday with my Brother-In-Law.....my kids did not want to go to KISS, therefore, they are out of the will.Boonie wrote:Ahhhhh concerts.....Going to see Bon Jovi next year and yes there is more good news.............
KISS ARE COMING TO AUSTRALIA YET AGAIN
I'm taking my kids this time...will cost me a small fortune, but I doubt it if KISS will be back after this one, actually, pretty sure I said that last time![]()

Skid Row kick arse, as does Bach by himself, man he's still got it. It doesn't seem like that long ago he was here, can't believe it's been over a year already.Pyssedas Heavy Industrial wrote:Ah but did anybody go to see Sebastian Bach on his recent solo tour?
Are there new bands that are actually calling their music "rock'n'roll"?Swainy wrote:Nope, i can't stand all this new shit that they try and pass off as rock'n'roll
If that guy wasn't such a freak I reckon he could be a very good musician. He is certainly intelligent enough and he has a heap of talent. Just not sure the stuff he records could be considered music...Chris wrote:In the immortal words of Marilyn Manson...

+ 1 for thatSwainy wrote:Skid Row kick arse, as does Bach by himself, man he's still got it. It doesn't seem like that long ago he was here, can't believe it's been over a year already.Pyssedas Heavy Industrial wrote:Ah but did anybody go to see Sebastian Bach on his recent solo tour?
If you can get your hands on "The long hard road out of hell", his autobiography, you should pick it up. It's am awesome read and you'll realise why he's so f**ked up. He was also asked to take the roll of head priest of the Satanic Church once Anton LaVey passed, but refused. I wouldn't really call his a musician either but more of an actor that can put on an awesome show.Kevnlis wrote:If that guy wasn't such a freak I reckon he could be a very good musician.
