Sorry BB, but in my home I'm definitely El Presidente and as such have decided to send you a Munich Helles with a bit of homegrown Saaz and Tettnang.
It is still a bit green so hold on to it for around a month before drinking.

I have an earles stone and wood clone that I bumped the ibu up a little on with some chinook, a amber ale that is racking atm and a witbier that has only just made it to the fermenter. You have a choice of 2x330ml stubbies, name your poison.

Nice selection thanks aydan, a stubbie of earles wood & stone clone and an amber ale would be very nice.

No worries, I will be bottling the amber on Monday so I can send them both to you. You will just have to leave the amber to carb up but the stone and wood should be fine. Hopefully they turn out fine, I haven't even tried them yet? They might still be a bit green so you can leave them for a bit. Pm me your address too.

Just finished bottling a mild amber so will post shortly, will need a few weeks at least but will mark it with bottling date etc.

Big Dave's Vasodilator stout has arrived in good nick. Will let it settle and get into it Sat or Sunday. Can't wait.

To do this beer justice drink it no colder than 10 C.

I personally drink it at 16 C straight from the 'cellar' but I understand some people struggle with warm beer.

Justice will be done at about 16 degrees.

Ris was CPBF so no settling required and no wastage

Sorry Doc but what is CPBF?

Not the doc, but he was referring to Counter-Pressure Bottle Filling. It's a way of filling a bottle from a keg without oxidising it (like the lazy "dribble method" would.)

There's no need to settle it because it wasn't bottle-conditioned (got its gas from the co2 bottle) and all other sediment settled out in the keg long ago.

Most decent HB shops sell pretty nifty CPBF beasties, but a quick google search will show you how to make a basic one, if you want to save a few bob.

Here's one we prepared earlier.

As Bullfrog has said, the advantage of using the CPBF is that i keg carbonate the beer and then transfer to the bottle without oxidising it and without the need for priming sugar which means there should be no sediment.

That enabled me in this case to condition the RIS for ~12 months with slight carbonation and a stave of american oak in the keg. I tasted it occasionally to see how it was going and eventually carbonated it to my liking (quite low) and CPBF into mainly stubbies.
