I liked the one Holly did in another episode:

"emergency! emergency! this is not a drill - this is a drill *makes drill sound*"

Danzar, you forgot the line before it that puts it in context:

Holly: The power surge (I think that's what it was???) has knocked out my voice recognition unicycle

Abandon shop, abandon shop, this is not a daffodil, this is not a daffodil.

Pure Red dwarf gold :D

I'm with you Danzar, I had to say Fawlty but Red Dwarf falls a close second.

"Look! it's the perfectly preserved remains of a Quagaar warrior. They must have looked something like....a Roast Chicken".

That one just sticks out at the moment although there are so many hilarious quotes...

Let me start the yelling.......

The US office is very good, but you really can't compare it to the UK version. Aside from the basic premise and some similar characters they are completely different shows.
I must admit that I love the US version, but the UK (to me anyway) is still far superior. Probably something about the understated way the Poms normally go about their comedy (excluding the Young Ones, Little Britain et al)....

Others yet to included are

The Comic Strip Presents
Alas Smith And Jones
Till Death Us Do Part

I think we all must congratulate The ABC as all on the poll apart from Allp Allo and On the Buses, Benny Hill were originaly screened by the ABC.

I couldn't vote as there are so many to chose from.

Why do I get the feeling that this will become longer than Danzar's Wheat Beer recipe thread?

Ahh, that was it!

I'd forgotten, mainly because I rattle that line off to my girlfriend all the time and it became all about the accent.

My vote goes to Minder. I've loved that show for as long as I can remember (like maybe six or seven).

The Office is also great.

Also, I've upped the number of available poll options from 40 to 100. Hopefully that should be enough in future.

Cheers,

Oliver

Thanks Oliver....

I actually had a truckload more shows on there, from a website I found.

But when I was clicking to close, it was saying that I had too many.

Atleast having the ability to have more available polls may stop a few Angry Ants blowing up about their show, beer, favourite recipe etc......

Cheers

Boonie

I voted for Black Books, in fact I'm seeing Dylan Moran's stand up tour at the end of march, cant wait :D

Although I would rate the show "Spaced" higher, it was made by the same guys who made "Shaun of the Dead" and the new film "Hot Fuzz"
