What have you brewed this year?
I started homebrewing around May this year and have made:
19.5L Coopers Lager (kit + kilo)
19L Coopers Alcoholic Ginger Beer (kit, kilo and ground ginger)
16L Coopers Non Alcoholic Ginger beer (kit only)
14.75L Brigalow Cider (kit, kilo and juice)
20.5L Coopers Dark Ale (kit and specialty sugar/malt mix)
Also have "considered" making:
2.25L Citris Vodka
2.25L Scotch Whiskey
1.125L Blueberry Schnapps
1.125L Butterscotch Schnapps
Of all this, I have about 3/4 or more sitting in my shed...I enjoy making more than drinking
Haven't heard of the 300L per year law, but I had heard you could only store 500L per person at a time (ie. family of 4 can store 2000L even if not all 18)

3. Tooheys Lager + 500gm LDME 200gm Dex
4. Coopers "Irish Bitter" kilkenny clone - with slightly less fermentables
really need to get another one on soon - very few of the first 3 brews left

I have made:
Cascade Golden Harvest with malt and SafLager yeast. Tastes fantastic after 3 weeks. Seriously one of the best beers I've tasted. Will continue using malt. Perfectly carbonated.
Alcoholic lemonade, which tastes ok after 3 weeks. I used the recipe from this site but used 1kg of lactose. It is still very dry though.
Also made a ginger beer which is nice but only a tad over 3% which is disappointing.
Tonight I put on a coopers mexican cerveza and a wheat beer using a brewcraft kit booster. Both are bubbling after only a few hours.

You deserve a cascade draught.
1. Cascade Choc Mohogany Porter (disaster)
2. Tooheys Special Lager with Muscadova Sugar (not great)
3. Brigalow Apple Cider (some primed with Leatherwood honey that turned out a treat)
4. Coopers Stout (Morgans dark crystal malt, leatherwood honey, cocoa powder and corn syrup and absolutely fantastic)
5. Coopers Bavarian Lager (burly style - BE2 plus 500g DLME and very tasty)
6. Coopers Honey Draught (750ml yellowbox plus 250 dex - my quaffing brew at the moment...yum)
7. Cascade Spicy Ghost (mid strength with Cascade hops too young still)
8. Cascade Golden Harvest Lager (BE2 and Ringwood hops... only a month old and needing a lot more time )

I only dug the fermenters back out in june after a stint drinking the commercial stuff and getting rid of the kegs!

I really gotta diversify, but I've only been at this for just under 4 months so its a mission to keep up with demand!
Since starting brewing in June we've knocked out the following:
'Double Trouble' - Two cans of Cooper's Real Ale and nothing else. It worked but could really use some hopping for aroma.
MSB Deep Roast Ale - fabulous. If you enjoy their Porters you'll enjoy that kit.
Cooper's Stout - turned out alright but some dry hopping would probably give it a bit more oomph and excitement.
'Killer Bees' - the GF is a Beez Neez fan but wheat doesn't agree with her. This is a Cooper's Canadian Blonde with lots of Tassie clover honey, some Perle, Tettnanger and Hallertau and a bit of steeped Carapils. Should have mashed it, but the starch gives a cloudiness that wheat would have imparted, so its all good. Only been in the bottle a week.
'The Thing Known As Tree Beer' - a Grumpy's Superior English Brown Ale with some oak chips which was probably a mistake. Not holding out much hope for this one, but in 6 months time it might be a cracker. Still in secondary. To be bottled next week.
Brewferm Oud Vlaams Broun - a Belgian brown Ale. Still in fermenter. Looks like it'll be a winter warmer at 7+ percent.
