Ramrod creek - about 6kms out of bruthen on the Great Alpine road... runs into Tambo River.
The Avon is miles away from there....not really EAST gippsland is it?

The avon in stratford is still east gippsland is about 50 mins from ramrod crk i live about 10 mins from the ramrod go swimming ind camping there all the time ill have to take the snorkle and look for lost stubbies!

ramrod doesn't go all the way to Stratford does it?
Now Stratford - what a groovy little town! Quite enjoy the Cellar Door! And the Shakespeare festival.

Na just to the tambo im living in swan reach seems like the locals think that tooheys extra dry is nectar from the gods here!

I would have said that Bruthen is North-East Gippsland. Fortunately, Gippsland is a big place so we can both be right!
And, in my opinion, the bestest creeks in that part of the world are Scrubby and Spring...

Na you cant bruthen is 25 mins from lakes enterance witch is the ocean so i wouldnt really call that north
