Greeting HomeBrewandbeer.com

Post by mjvincent »

New to HB, recently purchased a Brewer's Best Kit (robust porter) as well as a home brew setup from Craigslist (who's wife made him get rid of his setup after sitting in the closet for years after a heart attack). Brewed up my first batch last night and it is sitting in my primary fermenter! I am excited to get into this hobby and wanted to introduce myself.

I live in Waxahachie Texas which is just south of Dallas Texas.

On the third day of my first brew the fermentation dislodged my lid... I fixed it with some duct tape and fermentation is going well... I intend on 2nd staging the fermentation in a carboy this weekend... (cant wait)!

Greetings from TEXAS!!!

Just an update on the Robust Porter from the Brewers Best Kit! It is very good, it almost takes like Sam Adams Cream Stout (but better)!
