Franziskaner Hefe 5L Kegs $30 @ DMs

Dan Murphys have 5L kegs of Franziskaner Hefe (my personal favourite example of this style) for only $30, that comes out to be $3 per 500ml bottle!

It needs to be drunk within a couple days if you dont have one of those speacial dispensers that keeps the air out of it. Still I highly recommend everyone on this forum get a few friends together this weekend to demolish one of these!

Its bloody freezing! But... I am told it does get warm here... just yet to see evidence of it

Just called them up to see whether they had any in WA, and they said that Dan Murphys doesnt sell Fransizkaner Hefe.... only Heineken, Dortmunder, or Bitboiger.... Which DMs was it?

DMs in Ballarat have heaps! We bought one on Friday and it was gone within a couple hours... mos def tasted like Franziskaner to me

Maybe they will order it in for you? or even have a store transfer done on it...

I just thought it was strange becuase i called up the DMs 1300 number which goes straight to their HQ, and the guy checked on his computer and said that no DMs in australia have that beer...

So i bought one, and a 5L kostrizer schwarzbier keg... and they both went, along with about 30L of home brew at my oktoberfest on Sats. Pretty good considering there was only about 14 of us...
