Approx 70 IBU! Never had anything that bitter AFAIK. Do like a good IPA and am really getting addicted to hoppy beers so i may be a little late getting 'home from work' tonight....... :D

That's because I wouldn't call it overly hopped. It's balanced nicely with the malt.

Well i went along last night and had a few with a few members of another beer forum. Wasnt until i was supping the 3rd glass that i was told that it was 7.5% and that i shouldnt really be driving just yet. So i got to spend another hour and a bit talking about beer. Learnt lots from some of Adelaides AGers and hope to learn more.

As far as the beer goes, i preferred this to the JS hop thief. I found it be be a better balanced beer altho it did take a bit to adjust to the high IBUs since i dont brew anything near this level.

First time at the Wheatsheaf. Christ on a bike they have a great selection of beers on tap. Most of the Creatures and JS range. Will be dragging myself back there to start at one end of the bar and work my way down. Seriously have to drag some of my Cartlon Draught swilling mates there for a lessson in good beer.
