I got a bottle in Dan Murphys Hornsby today. Still had a couple on the shelf at the time.

I thought the citrus was a little bit too over the top, but still quite drinkable.

Bought a six pack - loved it so went straight back and bought a case.

There seems to be no shortage in the 'gong.

For me one of the highlights of the beer drinking calander.

That's why I like it. All the hop flavour and none of the bitterness of an APA. Sounds like a good concept to me. IMHO of course.

I too like the concept of a cleaner APA. I just believe that LCBA does a better job of it IMO.

LCBA is better than Hop Thief but they are both great IMO.

I'm very lucky - a good friend works for Lion Nathan (please don't curse) and she's given me a couple of six packs. I like it simply for its complexity. Worth a shot at cloning, but at the very least, makes me want to do an extract brew and experiment with numerous hops (I tend to experiment with grains, fermentables and additives).

Hops are so much fun. I'm making only slight changes to the grain bill I dreamed up for my first AG and playing with hops. I've become a part-time hop-head.

I'm about to bottle a hop-burst of Amarillo, Cascade, Willamette and First Gold - it's worth it just for the aroma in the fermenter.

Yesterday's brew was B Saaz and Cascade to a standard-ish hopping regime - similar grain bill.

Second AG batch ever was just plain Amarillo - beautiful, but next time I will add 14 kilograms of Amarillo...

I have to agree Spill's... playing with hops is the best part about home brewing. Its beers like LCPA and Squire's that got me into it in the first place.

My past 4 or 5 batches have all been Thomas Coopers Brewmaster Selection Draught + can of malt and each time I change the hops. some amerillo, maybe some cascade, nelson savien.. whatever... I think they are all awesome.. The freezer has got about 10 diff types at the moment... So many hops, so little time..

The only one I dont really like is POR, funny that

The day after brew day you'll find me hanging out by the fermenter inhaling the bubbles as they come out of the air lock

they've got heaps at the liquor store just round the corner (scarborough cellars)

I think you guys have talked me into getting a 6 pack, even though i have been eyeing some off for a while
