1 Cooper Canadian Blonde
2 kilos pale malt
500 g wheat malt
500 g Munich Malt
250 g Crystal
500 g honey
1/2 oz Saaz (20 min)
1/2 oz Saaz (1 min)
1 tbsp Irish Moss
Strike grains to 150-152 deg F and allow to convert 60-90 min
sparge 3 gallons of hot liquor (I use the remainder as yeast starter)
add honey and Coopers extract, boil 60 min, add hops at appropriate time.
add to primary and bring to 5 gallons, ferment with under the cap yeast.
By the way, as I just found out, if you are having issues with fruit flys, brew a lager. The H2S will kill them dead
