Brew software for iphone

Post by SuperBroo »

Just thought I'd post a link to some really nice brew software for those with an iphone.

Its called ibrewmaster, and I've been using it for about 6 months now, and its brilliant.
The guy that wrote the software is very helpful.

You can do just about everything you can do in beersmith etc, and they have just added a timer you can use when mashing / boiling etc.

The scheduling part of it is awesome, and the recipe creation and editing is very powerful and flexible.
Recipes can be exported / emailed and shared quite easily.

I have nothing to gain from it, but the software creator is so helpful, I thought he dserves a plug for free.

Go to http://www.ibrewmaster.com for a look at the software.

cheers,

Yeah, my wife has had that on her iPhone for a good number of months now. When I upgrade to an iPhone I'll be downloading it, too. Very easy to use software. Only negative I've encountered is that not all ingredients that I'd like to see are included in their ingredient list and it's difficult to adjust AA percentages of hops on the fly (have to exit the recipe creation screen and open up the database list to change from there, etc.)

My phone runs Windows Mobile and I had a look around a few months back but couldn't find anything decent.

I got the cook to download Brew Pal, the other day. Pretty basic, but looks handy with the timer functions. I don't think I would take it as gospel for building a recipe, but should prove to be useful on brewday.

Hi Elec,

ibrewmaster has heaps more features than BrewPal (in my opinion).

they has also just added a timer, which is just the phone timer, but works ok.

the scheduling part of ibrewmaster is awesome.
