Have just posted a bottle of Scotch Ale, details attached and bottled 2/8/11. Hope you enjoy this rather strong wee ale  . Suggest you let it settle for a few days in the fridge but don't drink freezing cold.
Cheers BB :D

I haven't forgotten you EmnPaul, I just need to find something amongst my stash.
I have a knee op next week, so if not before I will have some time after that to pull all of my milk crates down upon myself.

I've not forgotten either, emnpaul. I'm currently quality 'testing' (yeah, that's it) my brews. I'll have something in the post next week.

Cheers guys.

Don't stress about posting it. Whenever you're going past a post office will be fine.

Sorry to hear about your knee op Sonny, that sucks. I believe you've just gotten over a tidy up of your shoulder too. Good luck with the surgery and I hope your recovery is swift and complete.

Your APA has arrived Tipsy. It's in the fridge and will be enjoyed in a few days time.

You're very good Paul, yes it isn't my year.
But just think, I'll be bigger and stronger soon. You see the 40's are the new 20's.

I'm thinking about buying a push bike too. I need to ride 30km to work, and then home again.

Hmmm, maybe I should trade the wife in for a 21yo. (She hasn't hit 40 yet)

When I turned 40 years old, I told my wife I felt like a 21 year old.

Her response? "You can't have one".

hi emnpaul, checked with Post Master and he stated that they may have attempted to deliver but if no one home are now holding for collection. He asked that you check at your local PO and if not there I can put in an official complaint/search from here. Sorry but could you check and let us know. Ps. he said normally they would just leave it at the door but some posties won't.

Ahh, that explains much. After a spate of mail thefts/embezzelments the Auspost contract for our area has just changed hands and the new guy is still learning the run, etc. Strange there was no note in the letterbox to collect an item at the P.O. but I will send wifey down tomorrow for a Captain Cook if she's not working.

Haven't tried it yet. The place has been a madhouse with the resumption of school, work and TAFE. I was intending tho save the dregs for possible Lambic brewing. I'll post tasting notes off all the beers when I get to them. I'm thinking Friday night will be tasting night.

Cheers

tipsy youd be lucky to get a bottle of that batch, only half a dozen left. planning on bottling the next one soon. its only been 9 months on fruit.
if you win ill dig out something actually sour from the collection not just sour.
emnpaul,
no rush mate enjoy it as i told you its only just sour last time i tried it. if i had of thought i could of thrown in a vial of some sour bugs from the current sour abbey that im half way through bottling.
its really sour and bloody nice looking forward to it being on tap.
