Best handcrafted beers in the world

The good, the bad and the ugly of commercial beer and breweries, including microbreweries and craft breweries.

I recommend Jesse's Malt Liquor (8.0%), which also is Havasu's first malt liquor. It comes in a "classic" brown bag.

Ummm, apart from the high alc% and the fact that it comes in a brown bag, can you elaborate on your recommendation.

Given that it's brewed by the College Street Brewhouse would you care to disclose a commercial interest.

"Best handcrafted beers in the world" is quite a claim. My handcrafted beers and old world pizzas are pretty good too.

All true Earle but my beers on tap here and my smoked salmon pizza are the stuff of legend. Just need a mate to join up and troll saying so in his first post.

Always suss of beers that need a gimmick to make them sell.

Yep, smoked salmon, capers, brie and sundried tomato pizza at my brewhouse last weekend. Without doubt the second best handcrafted pizzas in the world. Second only to yours chadjaja. 8)

Or those that require shameless self-promotion.

Or ones that rely on quoting the alc% to make them special, rather than any specific ingredients or flavour. My Midnight Train Malt Liquor arrived at (pun intended) 10.5% alc. Does that make it betterer?
