how do you get a coopers vintage ale?

The good, the bad and the ugly of commercial beer and breweries, including microbreweries and craft breweries.

how do you get a coopers vintage ale?

As a newbe to this forum, i do as i guess you do and take full advantage of the search enginge available for what your leaning to accomplish in your own brewin. My searches keep bringinging up "vintage ale" , What the bloody hell is it? Wen't out of my way to a specialst cellar and response was "DOH". Is this beer up top ten, do they still brew this- is it still available or realeased in small quantitys yearly?

Yes it is released periodically. Buy many cases and store some + drink the rest.

And yes it is in my top 5, I love this stuff and I have only tasted 2 different years of Coopers Vintage.

Find a specialist store who generally import beer, and you will find the Coopers. There are no more in my area that I know of.

Welcome Daz, where are you from? Edit Geelong, should've read more

Cheers

Cheers Boonie, have read and learn,t from your'e back post's, among others. Faboulous foroum, we're sought of in the dark age's down here (I'm from Dry'sdale, Bellarine peninsula Victoria) , what you guys online has sort of opened my eyes up considering all we know is VB, tooheys and Boaggs- is that you can really make some grouse brews up. Doing it with your own hands just makes it! Laying down a Newcastle brown 2morrow , thought i'd try an original first, not even that avaialable here, have to order it  I buy Only coopers(much to the dismay of my mates) - THEIR LOSS . Great beer, that sparkling ale. Vintage ale? Then agaian we're onlly just getting used to seeing coopers at the bottle shop

thanks all, got permission from the cook to visit Dan Murphy's in Geelong and sourced out coopers v-ale and Newcastle ale . Like aladan's cave. On a more serious note both beers excellent, can't compare to anything prevously sampled, very full bodied ales. Very good indeed.

Guess I'm a good proposion of that 1 carton.Back to the subject a seriouslly majic brew; am thinking buying a doz- drink half keep half for ebay 10 years away
