I'm not sure that they'd be "excellent for homebrew", as described. I don't think Bundy bottles were designed to, or would, hold pressure that well.

But you're right, that's a hell of a lot of Bundy.

Actually, I put a bid on that item... I'm desperately short of bottles and I put a bid in without really reading carefully. It wasn't till afterwards that I read that many of the bottles are clear glass and many of them are mouldy. Glad I got snaked on the bid

The moral of the story is to always read very carefully

If you want free mould, just wander down to your local bowls club and ask to pick through their bottle bin - they're usually more than happy to oblige you.

Ironically, I live next door to a bowls club/RSL. Every morning I hear someone tipping crates of empties into their recycling bin. But I can never seem to catch them in time before they retreat back inside and lock up. By the time the place opens (at least, on the weekend when I'm at home), there are usually only casual staff working the bar and most of them aren't very helpful. I could probably just go poking around the bins without asking, but it doesn't feel "right". One weekend I'm gonna camp outside their back dock, waiting...
