Black Rock - dark malt extract - what do I do with it

First off, I am fairly ignorant when it comes to beer, anyhow

I was at the local brewshop looking for LDME which they didn't have, so I saw a tin that said Malt extract and thought must be the same stuff or similar and grabbed it.
Black Rock - dark malt extract

Now i am not so sure

I have a
Coopers Stout or a
Coopers Dark Ale kit
To use with it

plus maltodextrin and dextrose here what can I actually make from it, I have never used any liquid extracts before, just brew enhancers or sugars or my own combinations of the sugars and ldme stuff

Anyhelp would be appreciated as i am a touch stumped, should it be used in place of the sugars, or do i still add sugars etc

I would just use the tin of liquid malt extract exactly the same as you would the LDME. Just dissolve it all together.

Hard to believe the LHBS didn't have any dry malt extract.

Anyway something like

1.7kg Tin Coopers Stout
1.5kg Tin Black Rock Dark Malt Extract
500g Dextrose

Sound right

Thats weird first half of post went missing.

There is only one brewshop locally and its open only a few hours on a few days each week, i have a feeling business has been non-existant and they are just filling out their lease, bit unfortunate

That will work. Will definitely make beer.
