Fast wheatie

Havin not put down a brew for some 15 odd months its time to stock the larder.
can of Coopers wheat
500g dwme
500g be2
dried rind 2 maderines +1orange
30g crushed coriander seed
so6 yeast
5lt boil dwme with rind and corrie 20mi add 25g palisade hops.
Strain into fermentor add tin be2 mix top up 21 lt pitch re hydrated yeast @ 20c.
hope to keg in 7 days drink on 8th.
Time to blow the cobwebs off the AG rig and do 2 pommy ales

Hi wrighty,

The amount of coriander looks OK to me. What weight of rind will it be? I'd aim for about the same as a starting point. You can always add more later.

I haven't brewed with coriander and peel before, but I'd suggest you would add them to the boil between 5 and 15 mins from flameout. The citrus has a lot of volatile oils that will be removed if you boil it.

Pretty much how ive done it Oliver, i have done a few similar in the past
the secret was to let the rind dry on absorbent paper towel ,
as i had that problem with the oil affecting head retention.
Turn out a fair hogaarden clone one of my fave wheats. :)~
