Heyas
Ok got a kilo of ginger for $10 so have read some posts and thought will try a GB
This is the plan
1.15kg Ginger Raw and going to hit with processer (ginger is fresh though so might leave in fridge for a little)
1kg Liquid light malt
500g Liquid dark malt
500g Dex
500g Lactose
1 Cinnamon stick
Rind of 1 Kaffir lime
Nottingham yeast
Will fill to 20l and ferment at 22-24
Going to boil/simmer ginger, cin stick and lime for 60 mins, strain over malt dex and lac
Does this sound the right way to go and what kind of flavour am i looking at....want it gingery. Any help would be great. Ty
