I'm curious about this chuck the yeast in attitude

Doesn't this create odd flavours having two different types of yeast working in the beer (packet and whatever they use in Coopers Sparkling)

Is it possible to put too much yeast in a beer, or is it just that the sachells give you the minimum you ...

Coopers Premium Range

I was wondering if anybody has tried these before.

I went into my home brew shop today and noticed that besides all the usual coopers kits, and besides the international series kits, there were a range of about 4 premium coopers kits.

Apparently they've been around for about a year now, 13.50 each ...

In relation to the chicken beer (sorry to go off topic but what i found out is most interesting) apparently were going back on a historical tangent here.

Apparently if we go back to medieval brewing, before the monopolisation of brewing techinques by the church and moreso to the ale wives beginning ...

Is it a bad metallic taste, cause i know some people go after that kinda thing

Just look at the popularity of delerium tremens, isn't that a medal winning beer?

bjp,

tested out one of my first brews

you're correct its definitely lost alot of its sour front taste.

Correct also on the flatness of the beer, not overly sweetthough.

Its definitely not on par with breezers and archers

those things have like 2% alcohol and taste like soft drinks

Red Bull and Vodka is basically a screw me over.

Cause you're mixing a depressant with a stimulant, and pretty extreme examples of both being vodka and red bull

Yeah its not really a basement cause its not indoors.

But its similar.

Its difficult to describe because my house is on a hill, so its 2 stories without actually having 2 stories, its more like 2 houses sitting ontop of each other.

So the bottom house it my bedroom and the laundry, and the ...

Evo,

I've only tried red bull and vodka once

It was at the wrap party for completing a seasons shooting for the kids television show SN:TV

Big shindig cause it gives a chance to network with the Nickelodeon execs who you don't normally see when shooting on set.

Needless to say I was tipsy ...

My fermentor is in the laundry downstairs

Its a brick room which is under the house.

Its moderately stable temperature wise, I think i'm just a little panicky because its my first batch so i'm never sure exactly what to expect.

Yeah i'm recording everything about the beer, took that example from ...

I'm curious about the capper your mentioned

I've just got a little hammering capper which cost me 5 bucks.

Is there a reason why people go to those bench cappers? Are they really that much better, or is there a danger of having bottles smash in your hands with the hammer or something

Yeah i tend to think the hotch potch style is cool

I've built up alot of general knowledge just from reading random posts and the like.

Perhaps the only one I would suggest is maybe having a newbie question post and a more advanced section

That way with this split you do reduce the flooding of ...
