Welcome to the forum, pixelboy.

Well, I figured I could do the lot tomorrow.

Go to the march, few coldies with lunch, then home to get the brew going.

Learning heaps here too.

ANZAC Day

Shame on me...

I was considering a brewday tomorrow. Started the yeast, collected the ingredients, etc. Then I realised...

I usually attend the ANZAC Day parade, if I'm not working. This year I have the day free and thought "brewday"...

Am I hooked on this hobby? Yes...

LEST WE FORGET...

Remember to rack first, then bulk prime. 7 to 10 days in between.

Drinking music

I'm listening to The Eagles, Desperado, while supping a dark ale.

What's your fave drinking music?

I got a CMP from Coles (on special $12.95) on impulse a while ago, and spent a while wondering what to do with it.

Reading the above and blatantly copying recipes, today I put down a brew using 500g yellow box honey, 500g dark malt extract, 500g dextrose, Safale yeast (proved beforehand) and ...

Not this year, but the next, I will be working and studying for a year in Berlin. I will be making the trip to Munchen for the Oktoberfest.

See you there...

Ok...have to ask.

I sit here, at my dining room table, sampling my Coopers dark ale, with the magic sound of "gloop, gloop" of the Cascade pale ale in the background.

Hi again

I use a jug. My containers are king browns which I decant into jug then pour to a pilsner glass.

Cheers

PS Are you going to the Munich Oktoberfest?
