Re: Grumpy`s Instructions

I do the Grumpy's brews often and I boil the bag for 10 minutes, let sit for about 30 to cool down slightly then strain into the fermenter with a tin
and they always come out nice :D

Re: How long does a fermenter last?

I am still using a Brigalow plastic fermenter that I bought in 1993, had about a 5 year break but it is still going strong
is clean, no scratches and every beer that has come out of it has been good, probably do a dozen beers a year in that particular fermenter

I brewed the Spicy Ghost nearly 2 years ago and it was easily the worst brew I have done, initially
so I kept them and I am drinking them now and they are very drinkable, nice and smooth, with a great creamy head
the one thing that did happen when it was fermenting was that it got very got, it ...

there is a reason that the brewcraft stores dont sell Coopers stuff, I was told that the brewcraft chain is partly owned by Hahn
the Holden Hill store sells the Thomas Coopers stuff

for me, Grumpys is the closest and most convenient, so I generally do a few masterbrews
dont go to brewcraft ...

I just don't like green glass. I feel better with brown, even if my beer isn't going to be exposed to UV. Go figure.

I got given about a dozen Grolsch bottles from an elderly mate of mine and he must have had them for a while as they are brown glass
I cant recall when Grolsch came in brown ...
