Re: First Brew - need help
or pour some apple juice in to give more flavour
i also use the black rock cider with good results but only do about a 18 or 19 litres
i did one with 6litres of apple juice was very nice but if you like sweetness you need to crash chill it and keg it rather then letting it ferment out

Clearing wash
im just wondering do you need to use a clearing agent in ur wash or can you just put it in the still and let the still do its job?
if the wash is cloudy the enothol is still going to boil at the same temp there for the still will still collect what we want or will it collet outher bad stuff as well?

Re: Ball lock vs pin lock
i have pin locks and they work well and you dont have to worry about mixing the gas and the beer up as they are 2 or 3 pins
i would say get what ever you can get at a good price

Re: adding lime flavour to Mexican Cerveza
i have tried it coolded down and it still has a bitter taste to it
i think the rind of the limes have made the beer to bitter has anyone else ever had this problem?
not sure if i can drink this keg or if it will end up down the drain
but will try again if anyone has any ideas to improve it
