Good idea Dan. Last week I searched to find exactly when Northern hemisphere seasons changed - I wanted to alter a garden planting guide.
You could have told me, eh? 8)

er, is there anything wrong with my name? Sure "stuff" can polute from the roof if you don't use a diverter, but other than that is there a problem with rain water? By the way, it's cheap!

Aaahh, thanks for the revival grabman. I've not progressed at all on this project - been crook, and can't brew at the moment.

Looked but cannot find a cook book which, I think, said when using wine in a recipe two minutes of simmering completely removes the alcohol from about a cup full. Now whether the amount is relevant I don't know, but the only sensation left is the taste - maybe the doctor will know the answer.

Doubt it Mate. Chilling may be a sales claim, but cans stack better, glassed beer (I reckon) tastes better.
Maybe glass is becoming too costly - so, produce aluminium 'bottles', sell at the same price but save on production.
I also reckon transport damage will be greater.
Mind you, this is all ...

Thanks, GM. I understand the explanation (of course the answer is in square metres), but it seems too big.
I'm trying to estimate the area of my back lawn which has no straight lengths.

Measuremants .........

Nah. Not that kind.

With all the brilliant minds posting here I know I will get a polite and proper answer. So, how do I measure the AREA of a circle when I know only the CIRCUMFERENCE?

And if you can tell me you may as well do the figuring too - the circle is 51 metres (167+ feet).

Ta-a ...

Remembering when I did a CUB factory tour ............. Sure enough we happened to see a Kraft truck pulling in as we were leaving.

Ha!! When I was a boy we travelled into town to collect the used hops from the brewery to feed the dairy cows. This would be liberally doused with molasses, and so ...

Baron, I'm positive you would have read the ingredients label on the Vegie jar - but just in case.
Anyway, I reckon it's an exciting project and hope , if you proceed, you'll post your results here.
Damn!! I can just visualize offering a "Baron Vegie Sandwich" to my bushy mates for breakfast next ...

No science to this at all.

It's just the excitement of trying a new home made product and NOT RELAXING to permit the alcohol to do its usual job.

I might not be right, but I'm sticking to it!
