And true as you might be ... However, who needs the headaches should the boys want to test the theory?

Well Trendsetters ....
The last batch I made was around Sept ...... Been stuck in cardboard cartons since then.

Reason I've not been able to try it? ... Bought a Pub ... and been too busy to even contemplate a taste!
Now I would not be game to brew anymore as I'm sure the LC would have a few ...

Some great tips here guys .. Thanks

The last brew was the first time I used LDME ... Threw it in after the kit/dex/boiling water and ended up with 'malt balls' .... Whilst in a state of panic, you've never seen a guy work so hard to try and dissolve em ... trust me!

Still ended up with a few ...

i'm a keg, but you're certainly not crawling into me
Two things come to mind here...

1. You are setting your expectations and hopes too high ...

2. You've probably had a VB at sometime in that keg and I 'aint touchin it!

I would like to ask the question as to why my post was deleted?

If you can give me constructive criticism or a reason, then I have no problem.
I do object strongly though to moderators who feel, or think, they have a power which is far above any other person on this forum.

Imo ... you are ...

What annoys me ...

Well, most of you would probably be thinking..."And my care factor in microns would be?"

I will try not to be the 'Idiot in search of a Village here', but I'm curious as to the sudden lock of a thread because a couple of punters were just airing their thoughts and having a slight spar.
Now don't ...

Yeah Aussie .... I'm in the same boat mate ... I'm too impatient!

I'm like a kid in a candy store but surrounded by beer instead, especially when:
A. It's cheap as chips compared to buying it, and
B:The taste is soooo much better than the commercial crap

Funny though, my first brew was the lager ...

Just a thought.

Thanks fellas ... I understand it does need a certain period to mature for carbonation but what baffles me is why the lager was drinkable after only 2 days?
The only difference was the lager was done with brew sugar and fermented 6 days ...... The draught with dextrose and fermented 11 days ...

If it aint broke ... Dont fix it!

Hi again Trendsetters .....

Well, the next batch (draught) got bottled and another on the way as my last post explained.
Being the experimenter I've always been, I cracked open one of these (this time 4 days after I bottled, aren't ya proud of me :D ) and guess what I got ... A dead motherless ...

Furby, UR kidding. All a team has to do to beat them is keep Thurston quiet, and maybe knock his block off for good measure. He's a born whinger
Yes mate ... But a talented one at that! ... Also, watch out for Bowen

Cheers
