yeh i was speaking to my dad an he used to brew a lot of wine, he was saying that he used to make elderberry from kit in under a month, but was saying that when he made ones from fruit or juce from supermarket, it would take upwards of 6 months,

Morgans have an Australian bitter kit that tastes very close, look in their pamphlet and it has the type of hops and mix to use.TheDog wrote:The boys want me to make a beer that "Really tasts like VB"

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there has a recipe for kvass (brewed russian softdrink). I'd like to brew it full strength if posssible, On previous attempts it has turned out very acidic and got worse as it aged.
