Hi Guys,
I have just mixed up a new wash: 6kg Sugar topped up to 25l, Turbo yeast and turbo carbon. As I was screwing down the lid I noticed a strong ammonia smell. Should I be worried? If so is there anything I can do?

Virgin Coconut Activated Charcoal Granular Carbon
Hi Guys,
I see that I can obtain Virgin Coconut Activated Charcoal Granular Carbon on ebay far cheaper than the Activated carbon in HBSs. Is it suitable for running the wash through prior to distillation or is there a reason for its low price that makes it better to avoid?
