With the Golden Bottled....
In the last week I have put down Cooper's Hop Slam IPA (UK) but made it higher ABV than recipe, extra DME. I also got down their Mosaic Amber Ale in a 2nd FV too.

SG....
I have bottled my Amarillo golden ale, but have 2 FV's going again now.
One is an IPA UK it's Cooper's recipe but higher ABV @ 5.5% the other is their Mosaic Amber Ale.
I can post off a 750ml of Golden Ale........ but for the sake of a week or so I could send off 2 different stubbies so ...

Re: What are you brewing?
I put down a Coopers recipe Golden Ale.
BRY yeast. I think I got that packet when people were having mixed results. The fermentation has started, but slowly. There is yeast falling out of suspension and gathers on the angular sections of the f.v. so I know its going... but there is hardly any ...

Re: What are you brewing?
About to do a Golden Ale.
My wife got a golden ale tin with "Brew enhancer 20" (500g DME 250g Dex 250g Maltodextrin) from the HBS for my birthday.
I'm going to add 100g Crystal grain and 25g Amarillo for 10mins.
I have the baby daughter falling asleep on me, then I'll hop to it ;)

Re: Storing bottled beer
I pack my bottles into boxes then back into the fermenting fridge at ferment temps for a few days, then under the stairs in an insulated space.
…..by the way, huggies nappy boxes hold 15 pint bottles beautifully.
Huggies FTW.
I get 22 330/345ml bottles laying flat.
Funny I fit 15 pint ...

Re: What are you brewing?
I have not brewed for a while, but got a wheat beer kit for my birthday in May, so I decided I better get stuck into brewing again.
It is brewed with water from the West End brewery. So a quick trip to the brewery then hbs to pick up some supplies because I want to crank out 4 brews in a row so I ...

Re: Fermentation cupboard with temp control
I'd put copper coil in the cupboard, lining it. A fan to circulate the air can't hurt.
For me putting coil around or in the FV provides more problems or hassles than it solves.

Re: Bench Capper Sell/Swap
Hi,
I have a bench capper that I'd like to either sell or swap.
I'm asking $25 or swap for a bottle tree. (i.e what you use to dry bottles on)
Located in Adelaide.
Pigga
I'd be really interested.
Spending every last penny on the sprouts 1st brithday on the W/E. But if it is still available ...

Prancing Pony
I have recently come across the Prancing Pony Brewery range of beers. Brewed locally here in SA at Mt Barker.
Only had 2 from the range, most recently the Blonde. I quite enjoyed them. I didn't do any tasting notes but I will buy again.
Has anyone else tried this range? If so what did you think.
