Racking

Just woundering how you Guy's rack your beer into the second fermenter ? I have never worried about sediment but it would be nice to have some clear beer for guests.(how many days in the first fermenter)

Dry hopping is there any chance of infection if you use the pellets from a sealed bag?

Thanks Shaun

We will have to meet one day and have a few.

I have been to both stores in Darwin and asked for advise and have caught them out a number of times on the lack of knowledge they have.

Just for old times sake I use to make Coopers Bitter for my old man for my old man around 1985 and then they took it off the market and replaced it with Real ale my old man was not impressed so I wrote a letter to Coopers they replied saying they were very sorry.

Any way it is great to see it back ...

YES there is cellar mix and another one, one is 30% and the other is 40% nitrogen.

I have tried using the aerator with normal beer and it turns out a glass of creamy head.

G'day
just a suggestion when I put my gas line in I pushed it in through rubber gland at the back, where the electrical cable goes into the cabinet, saves drilling holes in the side especially if you don't know where the piping or electrical cable is in the sides.

leaking taps

Hi Guy's
Just recently I have had to replace my tap on the fermenter because it was leaking, and then I bought another fermenter and I've made one brew in it and that tap is leaking!!!!!!

Has any body had this problem?

Am I doing something wrong?

How can I fix it?

What causes this to happen ...
