Re: Pulled Pork

I've done one in my slow cooker. When it's done, you take it out, pull it apart and mix it back into the juices in the slow cooker. Then I had it between warm Turkish bread just cooked from the Turks shop down the road. Tender, meaty, sloppy, juicy, tasty goodness.

Must dig out the recipe again......

I'd definately take the time to educate somebody who was willing to listen, but there is people who will always buy Crownies to try and elevate themselves an extra rung or two further than they should be on the social ladder. Some people will have their pre concieved ideas about beer and will never ...

If you were fair dinkum Trough Lolly and wanted to charge more because they were/are imported ingredients then you could label it "locally brewed with imported ingredients" or "brewed in the style of [insert beer name/type here] with imported ingredients, something like that. You could maybe put ...

What happens when you complain, you're either going to complain to the waiter who "just works there" or maybe the manager, who will both more than likely label you a snooty nosed so and so and treat your complaint with as much respect as a piece of chewing gum on their shoe. Complaint stops there ...

Wizard Smiths

Saw this beer in the beer shop the other day so I got a couple. It's by Boags and is a brown ale type of beer. I really liked it, had some nice flavours.... you'll have to excuse me I'm not advanced enough to describe individual ones, however for a moderately priced beer I'll be buying more soon ...

Fridge for sale!!

Hello everybody,

The time has come, due to a move across the country, to put my beloved best mate a.k.a my brewing/beer fridge up for sale. I'm offering it here and another homebrew forum in the hope that it goes to a good home.

It's a Kelvinator 330 fridge with no freezer. It fits a fermenter and ...

Hi there all,

Now, the details are quite vague here but I do believe I have seen, at a brewshop not far from me, a kit of some sort that makes fizzy alcopop type drinks. I'm afraid I cannot offer many more details than that as I only gave them a passing glance but I'm sure I have seen them. Whether ...

Depends on who you talk to about putting a knot in it. Theoretically you really shouldn't and I wouldn't if it was mine, in saying that, I've seen it before on other stuff and some people would say it's OK. I got a packet of glands from Tricky Dicky's, the kind of look like a little bullet. You ...
