Need some help getting some more hops flavour into a Pilsner. The recipe is from the HB&B Q&A. It's one of my favourite beers;

hey emo, what i do for my lagers is put the carboy in the laundry sink with an old t-shirt over it and fill sink with water. i then rotate 4 1.25 or 2 ltr frozen coke bottles in the water, 2 befor i go to work, 2 when i get home and 2 when i go to bed. works a treat at keeping the temps low, every ...

Went to my local HBS to pick up some stuff for a JS Amber Ale. Plan to use Morgans Royal Oak Amber, Morgans Amber Liquid malt and a Willamette hops bag.
Anyway, the guy says we're out of Willamette bags at the moment but just use Tettnanger. He says its all about alpha acid and Willamette and ...

I generally don't use one for the reasons already stated. Alco content is generally a given (or close enough with K&K) and if you brew in primary for a week, then rack to secondary for a week that's plenty of time for the brew to fully ferment out - no risk of shed grenades.
