I was on holidays at the beginning of the year & stayed in Townsville for a week.

While there I went to the Brewery & tried their 6.1 & Larger Lout two very nice beers.

Has anyone else been to the Brewery.

Yes OJ It tastes good loads of flavour

whats the alc content?! Looks like a lot of sugar with the 1kg dex, 500gm malt and honey plus the sugars ...

My beer

I thought it was about time this went into the right area as I posted it in the beer you buy last time.

It needs a good name but I have no idea


1 x Coopers Bitter
1 kg Dextrose
500gm malt
500gm honey
750ml 100% orange juice
3 tbs cinnanon powder

throw it all in your fermenter add 2ltrs boiling ...

Huh? cool down never had that one

I just put in the 2ltrs boiling water then top up to 22ltrs with water straight from the tap as per directions then dump the yeast straight in

I have one brew that i have to leave in the fermenter for 3-4 weeks to settle all the other goodies i put into it

I've never had a problem with it


the first ever brew i did i had no idea what i was doing & left it in for 5 weeks it still turned out fine
